Even when nobody can make it, I will continue to do what He has given me to do.
This week followed on last week's discussion around the power of our words because ultimately, what's in our hearts will overflow out of our mouths. We need to take care of our heart health in order to change what flows out of it. Proverbs tells us to guard our hearts. Pay attention to what you allow in.
God's Word urges us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. What we entertain will ultimately drop into our hearts.
Faith comes by hearing thus if we fill ourselves up with the Word of God, our hearts will be restored & that will determine what we speak about. We have the power to choose what thoughts we will allow. Our decisions determine our destination. Our words have great power to influence our lives, so let us be careful to weigh them up against God's Word before we speak.
Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.” For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”
Matthew 15:11, 19-20 NKJV
